NEIL CHANDLER (Horndog) is appearing again on
our stage after his performance as the mayor in Trouble in Tumbleweed
during Twin Lakes Playhouse’s 2002 season. Previously, his love of
barbershop style singing made him a part of the town council in The Music
Man on the Municipal Opera stage in Springfield, Illinois. After
completing a 30-year career as a CPA, he now devotes his time to singing,
acting, writing (one book published), and spending innumerable hours on the
golf course. He and his wife, Jill, are the parents of four children. |
JIM GUY (Cheese) has been a resident of the
Mountain Home community for over 30 years. His interests include
working out and fishing. This is Jim’s first time on stage, but he has been
“acting up” all of his life. |
JEFF HOLMES (Plato) is a student at
Mountain Home Junior High School where he is active in football and track.
Twin Lakes Playhouse marks his community theater debut; although he has been
in performance skits and dramatic roles at the East Side Baptist Church on a
regular basis. While Plato is his favorite role so far, Jeff looks forward
to further opportunities with the playhouse. He would like to dedicate
his performance to the U.S. Troops serving our country. |
ALLISON JONES (Cutiepie) is a
native of Mountain Home who decided to come back home after attending high
school in Tulsa, OK. Dog marks Allison’s third appearance on this
stage. She appeared last fall as Kimberly Jivinovich in Walking on
The Moon. and recently as Ellie-May in The Battle Of The Bands
alongside Gerty, Earl, and the Grizzly Bear Boys. Previous acting
experience includes Community Theater in Poplar Bluff, Missouri’s Stage
Company, and high school drama. Ever the busy actress, Allison will
once again be featured in Twin Lakes Playhouse’s very next production of
A Piece of my Heart. |
CONNIE MEAD (Nadine) is an Army brat that moved
to Mountain Home 13 years ago. She is an X-ray/Mammogram Technologist
that sells cosmetics on the side. She has two grown children that are
also interested in the ARTS. Connie last appeared on this stage ad
M’Lynn in last year’s production of Steel Magnolias. |
JIM SMITH (Phyllis) has been an
active member of “The Playhouse” since 1994. Since that time he has
worn many hats both on stage on behind the scenes. He has either
performed in, produced, directed, operated sound and/or lighting in such
productions as Ethan Frohm, Egad, What A Cad, Canterbury Tales,
Grammercy Ghost, Romeo and Juliet, Fox Fire, Arsenic and Old Lace, I Never
Sang for My Father, The Face on the Barroom Floor, The Glass Menagerie,
Dracula, The Wizard of Oz, Terror by Gaslight, and Steel Magnolias.
He was in charge of our concessions from 1995 through 1998 as well as the
Patrons committee for four years. A member of the Board of Directors
of twice, once as Treasurer, he has also written and performed the local
radio commercials local for “The Playhouse” for several years. |
