Beari Productions' Presentation of

Standard Deviation

Photos, Bios and Credits

BOB ACERNO (Billy Ladnier) performed with the Parkside Players in No Sex Please, We're British, as Deliver Man #2, and has had several lines offstage as well as working backstage. He also appeared in Death Takes a Holiday with the Douglaston Community Players where he played Fedele. He is pleased to be making his debut with Beari Productions.

RENE BENDANA (Sheriff C. Wayne Hutto) has produced for Off-Off Broadway, as well as tech and house managing for many repertory companies, such as the Jean Cocteau Repertory Company and Once Upon a Time Theatre Company.  Some of Rene's stage credits include Julian March (42nd Street), Cosmo Constantine (Call Me Madam), Shem (Two by Two), Oscar Madison (The Odd Couple), Sasha (Room Service), Paul Sycamore (You Can't Take it With You), Herb Tucker (I Ought To Be In Pictures) and Arnold Wiggins (The Boys Next Door) for which he was awarded the NW Region of Ohio Excellence in Acting Award.  Rene, with his wife, Debbie, is co-owner and founder of Beari.  He wishes to thank the cast and crew for their professionalism.  Special thanks to Alan for giving us the opportunity to produce his work.

MIRIAM P. DENU (Dr. Joanne King) has been working consistently in amateur theater in some capacity for over twenty years. Favorite roles include Mrs. Wallworth (Speaking of Murder), Kitty (Charley's Aunt), Gwen (Witness for the Prosecution), and originating the role of Lydia in Second Bananas.  Miriam also played Nadine in the Off-off Broadway production of Nobody Knows I'm a Dog, which ran eight months at The Red Room in the East Village.  She presently teaches Social Studies and Drama for the New York City public school system.

TED FRANK (Dr. Eli Kronenberg) studied acting at Northwestern University and improv with Second City.  Performance credits include: Teacher's Lounge (Beari), I'm Not Rappaport (Beari), Laughter on the 23rd Floor (NU), The Zoo Story (NU), Brighton Beach Memoirs (NU), Judy No (Riant), The Children's Workshop (LICAP), Nathan Detroit in Guys and Dolls and a patron on Sex and the City.  As a writer/director, Ted has worked in Chicago, Los Angeles and last year directed a nicely sized cast of 3 in yet another Neil Simon play, I Ought to Be in Pictures (Beari).  He lives with his dachshund, Lexi.  It's the domestic, throwaway bio bits as such that he finds most intriguing.

DON GORMANLY (Deputy Chip) was last seen on Beari's stage in their musical revue in June (The Best of Magical, Musical Moments).  Don would like to thank Dana, ADP, Mom, Dad, Shannon, Jennifer, Caitlyn, Lois, Paul, his family, friends and Beari Productions.  Don can be seen in the Broadway Blockbusters at Flushing Town Hall.

SYLVIA VINALL (Nita-Kay) is originally from Boulder, Colorado, and has been an actor/choreographer in New York for twelve years.  She is a graduate from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy, has a B.A. from the New School University and an MFA from the Actors Studio.  Some of her New York credits include:  Nobody Knows I'm a Dog, 27 Wagons Full of Cotton (Babydoll Productions), The Bacchae, directed by H. Shep Pamplin, and a national tour of The Outsiders produced by The National Theater of the Performing Arts.  Her choreography was seen in The Survival Revival at the Duplex and in Grease at Circle in the Square Downtown.  Sylvia also teaches English and Tap at the Tito Puente Academy of Performing Arts in East Harlem.  She would like to thank her Dad and Brendan for all their continuous support.

DOLORES VOYER (Mozelle Hutto) is happy to be working again with Beari Productions and with this talented cast, crew and playwright.  Most recently, she has been seen Off-off Broadway as Cutiepie (Nobody Knows I'm a Dog), Broadway Blockbusters-Take II, Lady Grace (Something's Afoot), Broadway in Bellerose, and as Glinda (The Wizard of Oz).  Other roles include Lady Larken (Once Upon a Mattress), Hope Harcourt (Anything Goes), Antonia (Man of La Mancha), Rachel (Two by Two), as well as many performances in musical revues and cabarets.  Thanks and love to Ed and Brian.

ABE BER (Production Manager) has been with Beari Productions since they began in 1997.  He has worked in every capacity there is: actor, director, stage manager, set designer, set builder, lighting and sound effects.  He has been seen on Beari's stage as Frankie Salvucci (Breaking Legs) and Walt (Juke Box Saturday Nite).  Abe is appearing next in FSFCTG's Victor/Victoria.

DEBBIE BENDANA (Producer) is taking a break from her usual role as primary director for Beari.  She wishes to thank Alan, the cast and crew for all of the laughs.

NATALIE CANDELA (Stage Manager)  This is Natalie's second year working with Beari Productions and the second time stage managing a play.  She is thrilled to work with such a fun group of people.  hen she is not busy at the theater, she teaches sixth graders in a public school in Brooklyn.

CAMERON HUGHES (Tech Crew) has been a cad, a lover, a writer, a divorcee, a reluctant juror, a snarly Harley biker, a bank officer a drug abuser, a computer geek, a Rutger's graduate, an actor of questionable ability, an Air Force sergeant ... and that's just his personal life.  As an actor, he has appeared in a plethora of plays and independent films throughout New York City and surrounding areas.  A recent dramatic short film in which he has the lead, Anonymous, is an official selection of this year's Breckenridge Festival of Film.  Cameron recently finished principal photography for Tall Tale Pictures' In Devotion, a feature length independent film in which he plays a priest, something that makes his mother very proud.  Cameron has a special place in his heart for Beari Productions and welcomes this opportunity to be involved in another show, this time behind the scenes.  Hey Debbie and Rene, I love you guys!

JIMMY O'NEILL (Construction/Lighting) is off directing a show for TALC and appearing in Victor/Victoria at FSFCTG.  We love you Chang.
